FTI Touristik Group GmbH

FTI Touristik Group GmbH (formerly Frosch Touristik GmbH) was set up in 1983 by the young entrepreneur Dietmar Gunz, who saw budding opportunities in the travel industry in the German market. The FTI brand was launched in 1995, following the setting up of a number of diversified operations linked to the travel industry. FTI was acquired in 1998 by Airtours p.l.c., but was eventually reacquired by its founders in 2005. FTI Touristik Group is now one of the leading players in the travel industry in Germany and in Europe, selling services in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and the UK amongst others.

FTIAS Limited

FTIAS Limited (formerly Frosch Touristik Malta Limited and Finserv Limited) was originally set-up in 1990 to assist in the preparation of management accounts, reporting and the processing of invoices for the Malta Inbounds company.

In September of 1992, following steady growth of the FTI Group worldwide, the Malta organization was entrusted in the processing of invoices for CA Ferntouristik. This represented an important turning point for FTIAS as it was now offering services to entities within the Group, outside the Malta operations. The provision of an efficient and quality service led the company to be entrusted with the additional responsibilities including the provision of management accounts for FTI North America and eventually other products. The growing workforce, led the company to move from the Sliema offices, to Gattard House to the Qormi Offices and eventually to the current offices in SmartCity Malta. SmartCity Malta, offers state-of-the-art office facilities, and houses the FTIAS workforce.
